Course Overview
At the end of this course you will be able to:
- Prepare the mechanical file and calculate the building’s heat load for heating and air conditioning, including the definition and thermal characterization of building elements and the building envelope.
- Model ducts, pipes, and various mechanical equipment for a VRF and VAV system.
- Electrical coil preparation, electrical element modeling and characterization in terms of voltage, load, circuit connection, and panel schedule output.
- Modeling sanitary elements, calculating flows, and connecting pipes for sewage systems, water supply, and fire extinguishing systems.
Quantification of all elements, calculation of total volume, and production of boards. The course has been prepared by engineers with unique experience in modeling on several large projects in several countries and using specific BIM requirements. There is a test at the end of the course to ascertain the level of benefit, and based on that, the certificate will be awarded. Duration of the course: 30 hours.
